Senator-Elect Dan Coats’ 2010 Veterans Day Message

Posted November 11th, 2010 | Category: Blog, Feature, Press

On Veterans Day, we take time to remember the sacrifices made by those who have served our Nation.  From generation to generation, the men and women of the United States of America have stepped up to protect the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Our Nation has a strong history of selfless individuals standing up to fight for our country.  The men and women today serving around the world – including Iraq and Afghanistan – are a reflection of the continued strength of our armed forces.  This Nation is forever grateful for the service of our heroes past and present.

We honor all of those who have served faithfully and honorably for our great Nation. Your commitment has made it possible for Americans to enjoy freedom and liberty, principles we don’t take for granted. With appreciation, God bless all of the Veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice, and God bless the United States of America.
