Dan Coats has a strong record of protecting the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception. Dan has opposed federal funding of abortion, was one of the original supporters of the Partial Birth Abortion Act and was an original co-sponsor of legislation to prohibit minors from crossing state lines in order to avoid laws requiring the involvement of parents in abortion decisions.
